This was on its way home, and big thanks to Curt in his white XFI for taking the time to drive me across the state that day in his Geo. You can see his machine parked in back. He drafted so close for MPG we should have just put the tow bar on it.
Now that's its just after Turkey and I had a few weeks to get caught up and ready for my next set of refurbish appointments. I had time to tear out all the seats and start prepping the floor for water proofing from the outside and paint. I want to thank the guys for coming over on there day off and helping with that. Half a ton of seats and grinding all those bolt heads off was dirty work. Plus the trips to the dump.
I've taken tape and taped off the basic floor plan in the bus to start to ruff in the structure.
If your trying to wrap around in your head what you can create from a 40ft all steel 20 ton drive train besides an amazing road block for Zombies. Take a look at The good news bus. These are some of the great people that inspired me. This is a link to there complete build and its the exact same bus exactly. Or maybe you saw the in good house keeping this summer or they were invited to be in the Macys Parade just this week. Link to there build page
I'll get some more pictures up and probably post some video to the YOUTUBE page as I run into issues I don't know how to fix build or design.
