HD Bearing Pin and Synchro Kit add this option when you order the transmission to have this installed
- Only Available installed picture doesn't not show complete kit as I wish to keep this amazing kit from being copied with out my permission or paying for it as I have a lot of money in this design. I hope one day to re coupe it.
- It's taken some time and a lot of effort but I now have my own custom synchro's. Being that the stock Suzuki part is so inferior I just wanted a part that if driven decently could go a real 125k miles. After a few destruction tests now we can see that these new castings synchro's are obliviously a superior component. How long they will last we don't know but they will last longer then stock.
- I have also upgraded every bearings in the transmission with the next grade up bearing. All the roll pins to control the shift fork failures are now being drilled out and over sized.
- I did not need to do this I know I already build the best trans-axles money can buy. But after so many years and so many drive train restorations it just seem to be the next step in the development of the one car for a life time project. They don't last forever but we can surely extend that mileage out with upgrades and good common sense driving. FYI you can still take out a synchro with a miss shift or banging on them or out of adjustment clutch but for normal commute no load cruising I expect twice the normal distance to rebuild. Just remember I have never damaged a synchro even towing in a Geo so just be easy on the unit.
